Walking In

A New Age Comedy Romance

It’s about Joanna who believes she is Deevorrah, a fifth-dimensional spirit from the star system Pleiades. Is she really? Or is she crazy?  She wants to create heaven on earth but now she’s fleeing in a stolen bus with an armed felon, chased by a new lover and half the cops in northwest America. Will she be re-admitted to the psych ward or create a miracle that will transmute the planet?

EXCERPT

She let him lift her from the truck and into his house, let him carry her directly into his bedroom and lay her gently across his bed.

She could not control what her lips and tongue wanted to do. The touch of his tongue in return electrified her. Gasping in his arms, holding firmly against him, knowing that everything she did made him only want more of her – she surrendered to the third-dimension.

It had all seemed to have happened in a frenzy – pulling off each other’s clothes, climbing under sheets, male smells, becoming lost in some primeval force as their bodies pushed and twisted as if they were both trying to get under each other’s skins

She had let all that happen, willingly, giving herself to it, and now he was inside her. How did he know what she wanted was for him not to move, not for a moment. Absolutely still, she felt him inside of her, the awareness of that filling her.  His eyes watching her, waiting for her.

Oh, so this is how it felt. Oh yes, she had underestimated this. No doubt now that she had underestimated this.

“Something…” she struggled to find her voice. “Something…I should tell you.”

He found a place inside her that made her body shudder with a sudden spike of pleasure. He didn’t seem to want to talk.

“I have to tell you. I have to tell you,” she said.

He made a lot of wonderful noises but they didn’t sound like he was listening.

She groaned, “I’m an E.T.”

Roger made a startled noise and pulled out of her.

“Wha—“

“An E.T. An extraterrestrial.”

He was on top, his weight on his knees and elbows. His arms under her. He sounded like he wasn’t sure he’d gotten this. He said, “Like…what…not from Earth?”

“My body is,” she explained, “but I’m not … not from this dimension.”

“Jees, Dee…” he let out a long sigh “…never use initials when you’re … making love. Frightens the hell out of people.”

“I said I might make some mistakes,” she said.

“You can’t. You’re perfect,” he said.

And she felt his penetration again. Oh God … oh God … this time it felt … cosmic. How did he know how to move? When to move? Just so exactly. Oh yes, exactly. Exactly like that. Exactly. Exactly. And she realized she was saying this aloud now. Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Except it didn’t sound exactly like Exactly now. It was only a sound. A wonderful, exalted, joyful, repeated sound that was almost Exactly.
